What towers in Noida, Gurugram and Delhi usually ask for before a dismantling crew can start — and how early to ask.
Dismantling an office is as much about the building as the furniture. The crew can be ready, but if the facility team hasn't approved the gate pass or the lift isn't booked, nothing moves. Here's what to expect in each part of Delhi NCR.
What most commercial buildings ask for
- Vendor registration: company details of the dismantling contractor.
- Worker list with IDs: names and ID proof for everyone entering.
- Work permit: dates, times and scope of work, sometimes with a method statement.
- Lift and loading bay booking: service lift reserved for your slots.
- Floor and lift protection: sheets or boards on floors, padding in lifts.
- Material gate pass: signed by your company, listing what leaves the building.
- PPE: helmets, safety shoes and vests for the crew.
Noida
IT campuses on the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and in Sectors 62 and 63 are the strictest: vendor gate passes a day in advance, night-only heavy movement and security escorts in some campuses. Standalone buildings in older sectors are more relaxed but may not have a goods lift. Being based in Sector 94, we handle these routinely — see office dismantling in Noida.
Gurugram
Grade-A towers in Cyber City and on Golf Course Road typically have the most formal process: registration, worker induction, PPE checks and strict night windows. Allow three to five working days for approvals. See office dismantling in Gurugram.
Delhi
Delhi is a mix. Newer district-centre buildings in Jasola or Saket follow tower-style rules. Older buildings in Connaught Place, Nehru Place and Karol Bagh often have no goods lift and narrow service lanes, so furniture goes down the stairs with a bigger crew. Delhi's daytime restrictions on heavy vehicles also push large loading to the evening or night. See office dismantling in Delhi.

How early to start
| Building type | Start approvals |
|---|---|
| Grade-A tower (Gurugram, Noida Expressway) | 5–7 days before |
| District-centre building (Delhi) | 3–5 days before |
| Standalone or older building | 1–2 days before |
The gate pass is your company's job
The contractor provides worker details, but the material gate pass must be issued by your company — the building will only release material you have authorised. Keep a signatory available on loading days.
Quick questions
Why do towers only allow dismantling at night?
To keep lifts, lobbies and loading bays free for tenants during the day and to limit noise and dust in occupied floors.
Who issues the material gate pass?
The tenant company. The contractor supplies worker and vehicle details, but the building releases material only against your company’s authorisation.
