Questions about old batteries in Delhi
Why must batteries go to registered recyclers?
Lead-acid batteries contain lead and acid that are hazardous when dumped or broken open informally. Under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, waste batteries have to go through registered recyclers, and we route them that way.
Do you buy a single inverter battery?
Our focus is UPS banks and bulk lots, but we do buy smaller quantities when they come with other items or when our team is nearby.
Are dead batteries worth anything?
Yes. Dead lead-acid batteries are priced by weight for their lead content.
Do you cover all of Delhi or only South Delhi?
All of Delhi — South, East, Central, West and North. South and East Delhi are closest to our Noida shop, so they get the quickest visits.
Can you work in buildings without a goods lift?
Yes. Many older Delhi buildings have none. We carry furniture down by stairs with a larger crew and load from the nearest permitted point.
